About Mark
Family, Community, Work & Fun
Pam and I live on Annursnac Hill with our two dogs. Our two grown children attended Thoreau, Sanborn and CCHS.
I was a founding member of the Build Thoreau Committee, a citizens group that promoted the prompt reuse of the old Alcott School building as swing space while rebuilding the Thoreau School. Then I served on the Finance Committee for six years serving as clerk, vice-chair and chair. In 2021 and 2022 I served as the chairperson for the Fiber Broadband Completion Task Force.
In 2011 I joined the Town's Senior Management Team to serve as Concord's first Chief Information Officer. For over eight years in that role I headed the IT department. During my tenure I created the business plan and managed the startup of the CMLP Fiber to the home Internet service known as Concord Light Broadband.
Prior to working in Concord I was with IBM for over thirty years. I am a graduate of Syracuse University.
I enjoy hiking in Concord's many woodlands and swimming and skating on the Annursnac Pond. I practice and lead yoga classes. I am a volunteer in the First Religious Society of Carlisle's youth programs which Pam directs.
